Product Introduction
Iron chips filler is used for grouting of blast furnace cooling wall, and can also be used for rust-sealing on the pipe joints of tubular hot blast furnaces. It can also be used in the gaps between furnace steel bricks and between cooling wall and iron outlet frame, wind and slag outlet sleeves.
Its characteristics are: there is no harmful gas during shaking and grouting, working conditions are improved, ingredients are simple, grouting is easy and fast, and after the filler hardens, it can always maintain high strength without loosening or falling off.
When constructing iron chip filler, in addition to controlling the maximum particle size of the iron chips by the width of the gap between the cooling walls, when there is a lot of powder in the iron chips, the amount of binder should be adjusted.
When mixing iron filings, first mix the dry materials evenly. Then add the binder. If it is not mixed evenly, it will affect the quality. When grouting the iron filler, try to compact it to the extent that the surface will return to the slurry.

Application
The setting time of iron chips filler depends on the ambient temperature. In summer construction, the mixed materials must be used up within half an hour. If the temperature is low, the time can be extended appropriately. If the iron filings have already solidified, they cannot be used again. It is even more forbidden to add water, otherwise the iron filings will become loose.
